Both sets of children had a disco on the playground, played a range of sporting activities, sang the National Anthem and then more than 850 children and grown-ups got together to form the number 2022 which was photographed from above by drone.

Both head teachers, Matt Paterson, of Shears Green Junior School, and Hayley Kotze, of Shears Green Infant School, were said to be "over the moon" with how both schools collaborated to celebrate such an important event.
