Gravesend man charged with riding electric scooter while over legal alcohol limit

A man has been charged with riding an electric scooter while drunk after a late-night disturbance.

Officers went to Burch Road in Northfleet after a fight allegedly broke out between three men.

Two of the men were arrested.

Callum Keeble, of Waterdales, in Gravesend, has since been charged with possessing a bladed article in a public place.

He has been released on bail to attend Maidstone Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

The second man was released without charge.

While in Burch Road on April 20, at around 10.45pm, officers also detained Thomas Jarvis after he was reportedly seen riding an e scooter nearby.

The 34-year-old, of St Albans Close, Gravesend, has since been charged with drink driving, using a motor vehicle without insurance and driving without a licence.

He has been released on bail, to attend Medway Magistrates' Court on Thursday, June 10.
