Drivers faced heavy congestion on the A2 Watling Street thanks to an accident.

One lane was closed on the westbound carriageway between A2260 Southfleet Road/B262 Hall Road junctions and and the M25 J2 (Darenth Interchange).

It happened at around 6.48pm and did not clear until around 8.40pm.
