RNLI deployed in the early hours of Boxing Day around Gravesend

The RNLI launched in the early hours of the morning to search for a person in distress.

Gravesend's lifeboat service was deployed at 1.16am to look for a person in the area.

Once the police found the person away from the river the RNLI stood down.

Medway Coastguard were also called out to assist but were stood down.
