Traffic is moving extremely slowly on the A2 this morning after an accident near Gravesend.

Two vehicles collided J1 of the M2 and the A2260 Southfleet Road.

Highways England say the incident was quickly cleared but there is still severe London-bound congestion between J2 of the M2 at Strood and the B255 Bean Lane at Northfleet.

Watling Street was also partially blocked and roads heading into Gravesend are busy.
