A teenager has been arrested after an alleged sex attack in Gravesend.

The 18-year-old man was held by Kent Police following claims a woman was assaulted off Hever Court Road.

Detectives have now released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to as a potential witness.

He was walking down Singlewell Road, in the direction of Kings Avenue, around the time of the incident - at around 9.30am on Thursday, February 7.

Anyone who recognises the man in the image or has information that could help is asked to phone Kent Police on 101 - quoting crime reference XY/4390/13 - or Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.

The arrested teenager has been released on police bail until Friday, March 15 pending further investigation.
