Woman attacked in Swanscombe

Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, November 6 at about 2pm when a 64-year-old woman had been to her garage in an alleyway between Betsham Road and Munford Drive, Swanscombe when two men approached her from behind.

They asked her for money and when she said no, one of the men kicked her in the back of the leg causing her to fall, hurting her right knee.

He also grabbed the back of her head and turned her face back and forth on the gravel.

Both men then ran off.

One of the men is described as a white male wearing dark trousers and trainers and a dark baseball cap, the victim believes he had dark hair.

She was not able to describe to other man.
