A road used by buses and people making their way in and out of Gravesend town centre, Milton Road also has two crossings a zebra crossing and a crossing with traffic lights.

Both of which were only yards away from the scene of the collision.

The woman, who lives directly opposite the scene of the accident said that the road had a problem with speeding traffic.

She said: "People use the crossing, but cars go too fast up this road.

"We've complained to the council and when the police come out we tell them but you might as well be talking to a brick wall.
