Ebbsfleet suffered their third successive away defeat in Vanarama Conference South on Tuesday night.

A 3-2 loss at Weston-super-Mare means Steve Brown's side have still not picked up a single point on their travels this season - and the result saw the Fleet drop to 10th in the league.

The visitors were 2-0 down inside 20 minutes.

A superb strike from Jamie Lucas gave Weston the lead and some slack defending then allowed Joe McClenan to double that advantage.

But in a game which flowed from end to end, Ebbsfleet hit back with a quickfire double of their own. Charlie Sheringham scored two goals in the space of a minute to level things up at 2-2.

Chances were at more of a premium in the second period and it looked as though the Fleet would return to Kent with their first away point of the campaign.

But Jacob Cane struck in stoppage-time to leave them empty-handed once again.
