Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish will wait until all the mathematics are done and dusted before celebrating the club’s survival in the Blue Square Premier.
The Fleet continue their hectic season run-in with a home game against Kidderminster tonight (Thursday).
Before Tuesday's 2-0 defeat to Mansfield they had enjoyed a trio of 1-0 wins which has lifted them clear of immediate danger at the bottom of the table.
Ebbsfleet are currently 17th in the table and are six points clear of the relegation zone with games in hand over all of the teams below them.
But despite looking safe, Daish won't be relaxing just yet.
He said: "Until someone tells me that mathematically we are safe I’m taking nothing for granted.
"Football is full of stories about teams who thought they were safe only to be dragged down after a couple of results went against them.
"My views on the fixture congestion the club finds itself in have been well aired, although I can’t speak highly enough about the attitude of the players who have got their heads down and worked incredibly hard in the most difficult circumstances.
"The players have put behind them the FA Trophy semi-final defeat and have focussed purely on the need for survival. That’s all that matters."
Ebbsfleet travel to FA Trophy conquerors Stevenage on Saturday before returning to Stonebridge Road on Monday to entertain relegated Lewes.
