Ebbsfleet put on an impressive display to knock local rivals Bromley out of the FA Trophy at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.

A decent crowd of 956 watched the third qualifying round clash between two Kent sides who have designs on getting promoted from the Skrill South.

Preston Edwards denied in-form Bromley striker Bradley Goldberg twice in the opening exchanges, before the home side took a 15th-minute lead.

Anthony Cook's corner wasn't properly cleared and Michael Thalassitis hooked a volley past former Fleet goalkeeper Joe Welch.

Cook crossed for Aiden Palmer to head the hosts 2-0 in front on 33 minutes and Ben May's tap-in shortly after the restart effectively put the tie to bed.

Bromley did pull a goal back when Jay May turned in an Elliott Buchanan free-kick and the Ravens applied the pressure in search of a second goal.

But the Fleet rubber-stamped their dominance in stoppage-time when substitute Billy Bricknell chipped Welch to make it 4-1.
