A woman in her 90s had her handbag stolen when a man in a shabby suit got into her home.
Police are investigating following the incident at a flat in the Highfields View area of Beltinge, Herne Bay.
The man, who was in his 40s with a thin face and dark hair, got in through a door which had been left ajar.
