Police are trying to track down two men who ran off after a crash in Herne Bay today.

The crash involved three cars in Canterbury Road just after 11am.

Officers carried out a search of the area but the men were not found. A spokesman said inquiries are ongoing this afternoon.

The road was closed in both directions near the doctors surgery and the junction with the High Street.

The road reopened at around 1.20pm.

Officers had been dealing with traffic control which was said to be busy.

It is not yet known if anyone has been injured.
