Robbers threaten staff at Herne Bay business with knife in raid

Cash was stolen after staff at a town centre business were threatened at knifepoint by a pair of robbers.

The incident is reported to have taken place at a premises in King's Road, Herne Bay, at about 4pm on Saturday.

After officers arrived at the scene, they arrested an 18-year-old man from Ashford and a 17-year-old boy from Folkestone on suspicion of robbery.

They have both been released on bail until May 30, pending further inquiries.
