Woman treated for hypothermia after being pulled from sea in Hampton in Herne Bay

A vulnerable woman was treated for hypothermia after being pulled from the sea.

The coastguard was called to Herne Bay to help police find the 26 year old just before 9.30pm last night.

She was later found standing in the water up to her waist in Hampton.

She was helped to shore and treated by police and coastguard officers until paramedics arrived.

The woman was then taken to hospital for further checks and treatment.
