Hythe Town re-sign former Dover Athletic and Margate defender Craig Cloke

Craig Cloke is back at Hythe Town.

The 30-year-old has become the latest player to join Clive Cook's new-look squad at Reachfields following the sacking of Tim Dixon last month.

Cloke originally joined Hythe in May 2012 when Scott Porter was manager and he went on to play 78 times for the club.

The former Margate and Dover player was handed the captain's armband at Hythe but he broke his leg just over a year ago and left the club later in the season.

But he could return for the Cannons away to Kent rivals Whitstable on Tuesday night.

Hythe are 21st in Ryman League Division 1 South, one place and seven points above the relegation zone.
