An evening talking tax

MYSTERIES of tax may be solved at a business meeting next month. Club Enterprise, an independent organisation that helps small firms across the county, is hosting an evening about tax, value added tax and National Insurance.

The event is being held in the Clock Tower Building, Bridge Wardens' College, Chatham Historic Dockyard, on June 11, starting at 7.30pm. A club spokesman said that legally, every business owner has to ensure that Inland Revenue demands are met.

He said: "While accountants take the strain of working to what is due, it is our responsibility to make the payments on time. With the Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown making major changes in the latest Budget, this meeting will be an excellent time to find out the implications for your business in a conducive atmosphere."

To attend the meeting free of charge, contact Pam Walker on 01634 379689 or email enquiries@clubenterprise.org.uk or visit www.clubenterprise. org.uk
