Care home manager Sekayi Gotora, who runs the Rose Farm House in Ramsgate, admits stealing from residents

The boss of a Ramsgate care home has admitted stealing £4,000 from two residents.

Manager Sekayi Gotora, runs the Rose Farm House in Haine Road which caters for people with learning difficulties.

Now Gotora, 48, of Westover Road, Broadstairs will be sentenced next month for the two thefts.

She also pleaded guilty to a third charge of fraud in June last year by withdrawing cash purporting to be on behalf of one of the residents.

Judge Adele Williams, sitting at Canterbury Crown Court, ordered a probation report be prepared before Gotora is sentenced.

In November 2013, the Care Quality Commission, the official regulator for homes, carried out a check at Rose Farm House and reported that it met five standards, including "safeguarding people who use services from abuse".
