NEW Ashford firms looking for financial support for their businesses are invited to a seminar on ‘How To Access The Right Funding For Start-ups And Early Stage Businesses’.

Organised by Business Link Kent, the business advice agency, the seminar at Garden Court on October 20 is designed to help attendees gain access to the right source of funding for their new business.

The major sources of finance – banking, grants, HP and leasing – will be covered during the two-and-a-half hour seminar.

Ian Netherton, Business Link Kent’s manager of financial packaging, said: “The seminars are for information only, so there will be no hard-selling of any particular financial support services.

“The presenters are all experts in their specialised fields meaning that businesses will come away with an idea of what is available to them and what sort of services are most appropriate.”
