Hunters opens four estate agent branches in Kent

An estate agent is opening four new branches across Kent.

Hunters, founded in York in 1992, is launching bases in Ashford, Folkestone, Hythe and Tenterden as it aims to cement itself as a national player.

The company, which has 165 branches nationwide, has hired a single franchise owner, Rob Stewart, to lead the new outlets.

Mr Stewart, who has worked in the county for 12 years, set up his own estate agency six years ago.

He said: “Having previously opened three offices in five years, I felt I needed support for our rapidly expanding business.

“Hunters were the obvious choice for us to work with, they share the same ethics we have and show a similar desire to grow quickly.”

Hunters already has branches in Welling, Bexleyheath and Dartford

Managing director Glynis Frew said: “Seeing our continued expansion in the South East is very exciting and I’m proud that we have such a strong presence in the area.”
