A mechanical and engineering firm celebrates its tenth year working with luxury brands.

For the last decade Synecore has partnered with some of the largest hospitality firms in the UK, designing and installing equipment for hotels, restaurants and even business lounges on Eurostar trains.

Based in Detling, near Maidstone, the company has around 20 employees and has successfully become a supplier to blue-chip brands within the leisure industry.

In 2005 founders Paul Thomas and Adrian Eade identified a gap in the market for a professional M&E contractor to work in the hospitality and leisure sector and Synecore has now become a recognised contractor, maintaining a long term rapport with its clients.

During the company’s short history it has managed to secure contracts with some front running brands, including The Restaurant Group (TRG), Leon, Wasabi, Five Guys, Cote.

Synecore worked alongside TRG during its expansion – completing over 80 projects for some of the group’s biggest names, including Frankie and Benny’s, Garfunkel’s, Chiquitos and Coast to Coast.

TRG’s Paul Mitchell said: “We have worked with Synecore for seven years throughout our roll out programme. They have a very proactive, professional approach and have delivered on every project to date.

"The Synecore project management team has extensive industry knowledge and experience, providing a comprehensive service from initial design through to handover. Synecore has proven to be an excellent partner in our development on retail, leisure and airport projects.”

As part of its customer care strategy, the company has shown initivative by investing in the paperless work management system, JobFlow, allowing for a more efficient communication between the onsite work force and head office.

Rather than using traditional paper job sheets and phone calls, engineers can access job sheets via smart phones and computer tablets, allowing clients to sign on screen.

The method of instant reporting gives real-time costings to ensure projects remain on budget and on time.

Director Paul Thomas said: “It has been a wonderful journey, building a super team of staff, a close network of clients and some very loyal relationships with key suppliers.

"We will continue to prosper and have built an excellent reputation, treating everyone we work alongside with respect and gratitude, while always building long lasting partnerships, not just five minute relationships,”
