She said: “The feedback I have had over the last few events is that sometimes not everyone can get to talk to each person, so I have decided to change it up and run a speed networking event.

“It’s a great opportunity talk about your business" - Anna Murray

“It’s a great opportunity talk about your business. You will have a three minutes with each person while one person stays seated and the other moves around the room. A buzzer will sound at the end of the three minutes.

“It is basically like speed dating but there will be no kissing involved!”

It will be 7pm on Monday, September 7, at The Lane in South Court, Deal, and all business men and woman are invited.

Miss Murray is really keen to see some new faces attend.

“I really want the networking to grow as I think it is great for small to medium size businesses to gain new clients and build relationships,” she said.

“Those who have been regularly attending are already seeing the benefits.

“There are so many businesses in the town and this is perfect for those that don’t necessarily have a shop front and those who work from home such as physiotherapists, accountants and printers.”

People are encouraged to bring a handful of business cards.

Numbers are limited so people must register by emailing info@thelanedeal.co.uk or call 01304 448283.
