Watchfinder named Watch Retailer of the Year for third time straight

Pre-owned watch seller Watchfinder completed a hat-trick of awards after being named Watch Retailer of the Year at the UK Jeweler Awards for the third time in a row.

The company’s flagship store manager Robert Brooks and deputy head of retail operations Ashlee Eastes picked up the prize at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Wednesday.

The firm has sold more than £200 million of watches since it was incorporated in 2002 and forecasts turnover to almost double this financial year to £60 million.

Lloyd Amsdon, co-founder and brand director of Watchfinder, said: “We are thrilled to have won the award for the third year running.

“It’s reflective recognition that even as the company doubles in size, we strive to maintain the same levels of service across all departments. Here’s to keeping it up and winning again in 2017.”

It follows another victory at the Digital Leaders Awards on Thursday, June 23, where its IT team won Development Team of the Year, beating industry giants Ticketmaster.

On the same night, the firm was a finalist at the Kent Excellence in Business Awards – the KEiBAs – in the Customer Service and Commitment category.
