Ryman League Division 1 South leaders Maidstone have the chance to open up an 11-point gap over third-placed Leatherhead when the sides meet at the Gallagher Stadium on Saturday.

It’s the first of seven league matches for the club this month with a trip to Corinthian Casuals to follow on Tuesday.

Stones boss Jay Saunders (pictured) said: "We’ve got some massive games coming up, including Dulwich away, and if we have a decent month, we’ll put ourselves in a great position.

"On paper, these are the toughest games we’ve got left but we’ve done well all season against the top teams.

"It’s the teams we’re expected to beat that we’ve come a cropper against so whatever happens in February there’s still a long way to go."

Winger Alex Flisher could return from a hamstring injury along with strikers Paul Booth (groin) and Ian Draycott (ankle).
