Digital in Kent conference draws the UK's finest

The second Digital in Kent event gets under way in Folkestone today.

The marketing, technology and social media conference, staged in association with Kent Business, takes place at The Quarterhouse in the town's Creative Quarter.

First staged in April this year, the event attracts representatives from businesses of all sizes, aiming to inspire them to use digital tools better.

It features keynote talks, practical workshops and networking opportunities, accompanied by beers and pizzas sponsored Kent firm Sleeping Giant Media.

Today's keynote speakers include UK industry experts such as Tim Arnold, Martin Smith, Leonard Weinreich and Bill MacLachlan.

Various workshops will be running throughout the day hosted by online marketing expert Josh Whiten, Sleeping Giant boss Luke Quilter and Jonnie Jensen, founder of www.liveandsocial.com.

Folkestone and Hythe MP Damian Collins will also be addressing the conference.
