It is well documented that the test of character is when you go behind.

We’ve just had three away games and taken points out of all them of them so that’s been a good return and we’ve shown good character to have come from behind in the last two games.

It shows the fight and the never-say-die attitude of the team.

We passed the test with flying colours and showed a real determination after going down to 10 men toward the end of the game at Rochdale on Tuesday night.

We’ve watched the game back and the work-rate of the lads and their intensity was unbelievable. A lot of credit has to go to the fitness coach James Russell. They have worked hard in what were three difficult games but three in which we have taken points from.

Tomorrow (Saturday) we face an Accrington team who are fighting for their lives in this division but have scored seven in their last two.

They have a lot to play for and every time we have gone out, every team against us has something to prove but we are no different, we are going out there to get points as well.
