Gillingham's 4-2 victory over Macclesfield in League 2 on Saturday saw them rise to 13th in the League 2 table.

The Gills are just four points outside the play-off places, and with the recent form, they are starting to make the rest of the division take note.

Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler said: "I would like to think they are because we’ve got that bit between our teeth.

"We just want to keep rising and to keep this momentum going.

"I have been pleased with the whole squad. At this present time they’ve dug in and turned things around for us.

"It’s just three wins though, we’re not even halfway through, and there is still a lot of hard work to do."
