Midfielder Steven Gregory has signed for the Gills on an 18-month contract.

He becomes the second new player to arrive at Priestfield since the transfer window reopened at the start of January.

Gregory, 25, was released by Bournemouth just before Christmas after making 30 appearances for the side since his arrival from AFC Wimbledon.

He played in the same Wimbledon team as Danny Kedwell and helped them gain a place in the Football League, with a play-off victory over Luton Town in May 2011.

He moved to Bournemouth in the summer of that year but this season he made just one appearance before returning to AFC Wimbledon on loan.

Gregory goes straight into the Gills squad for their trip to Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
