A NEW doctor’s surgery has won an award for best practice.

Summerhouse Medical Practice in Bexleyheath, which opened last March, has been named as Practice of The Year by a panel of medical experts.

Their practice nurse Janet Moylan has also won Nurse of the Year after being nominated by patients and judged by the West Kent Practice Managers Forum.

Head of the Beaconsfield Road practice, Dr Wasim Ahmed, said: “I’m extremely proud of the whole team and it’s certainly a well deserved honour for our nurse who has worked so hard for many years.”
