Kent's Welsh community celebrates St David's Day

Welsh people across Kent have been celebrating St David's Day.

Traditionally children in Wales were always given a half day off school, but youngsters living here are likely to have not made it in at all thanks to the chaos caused by the Beast from the East.

The Canterbury and District Welsh Society, which has around 60 members who come from as far afield as Medway, is holding a special lunch on Saturday to mark the occasion.
