10.35pm - Brave fight in the final set but GB go down 25-22 against the team ranked third in the world.

Hope they can bounce back against Morocco.

That's it for another long day. I'll be at ExCeL in about 9.5 hours time to see Will Bayley and Ross Wilson in table tennis action.

Night.

10.10pm - The writing is on the wall for GB who find themselves two sets down against Egypt.

25-15, 25-17 is the deficit. It needs a miraculous turnaround if they are to be playing for anything other than pride against Morocco in their final group game.

7.05pm - Just under two hours until the three Kent amigos of the GB sitting volleyball squad hit the court at ExCeL.

Netra Rana from Folkestone, Dover-born Charlie Walker and Beckenham-raised Richard Dobell will line-up against Egypt at 9am needing to win.

To keep you up to date, two of the British judo players who train at Dartford, Marc and Dan Powell, brothers from Liverpool, received unfortunate draws in the under-73kg and under-81kg class respectively.

Both suffered first round defeats against elite opponents and neither was able to emulate training partner Ben Quilter by progressing through the repechage to claim bronze.

3.15pm - Richard Hennahane's Games are over.

The 31-year-old lost 6-4 to the Czech Jiri Clich in the first elimination round.

Clich took the first set by a single point, but with two points on offer for each of the five sets he went 2-0 ahead.

The next set was drawn with a point apiece making it 3-1 but the Czech grabbed the third set in dramatic fashion, the Brit leading 19-18 after two arrows, only to hit an eight with his third and Clich fire a 10 to win it and take a 5-1 lead.

The best Hennahane could do was force a 5-5 tie and a one-arrow shootout by winning the final two sets, and he raised his game, scoring 29 in each of the final frames.

It was enough to win the penultimate set to make it 5-3, only for Clich to snatch the draw he needed in the final set with a nine from the final arrow.

The Chatham-born bowman certainly seemed to enjoy his 15 minutes on the biggest stage of all and proved to be a real crowd favourite.

2.50pm - Crowds are flooding in here and the pre-event videos, music and tannoyman are in full swing.

Here's a fact for you, the central 'gold' of these archery targets is 12.2cm across - about the size of a CD - and the archers are stood 70m away from them.

It is unimaginably ridiculous when you see it infront of you. TV does not do it justice, I promise you!

2.25pm - It's a lot warmer out here for the archery, I'll tell you that.

I'm in position a little early for Hennahane's match against the Czech, but the sun's out, the band of the Blues and Royals are playing the Jungle Book theme tune while wearing full ceremonial regalia and hundreds of kids are lining up away to my right to try archery for themselves.

This is London 2012. Glorious, quirky, inspiring.

1.45pm - Erm. Ok. This is the first time this has happened this summer.

One of the events which I had been led to believe would be this evening has instead been moved to tomorrow morning.

So it seems Will Bayley will NOT be in action at 5.20pm against Keli Liao of China, it will infact be at 9am tomorrow (up at 6am, oh joy!).

The London 2012 scheduling website and the Paralympic Games releases are at odds, which led to the confusion.

Oh well, just means more fun tomorrow on Super Saturday then!

Just over an hour until Richard Hennahane gets underway in the archery elimination round.

1.10pm - Claire Harvey did make history today, even if GB's first ever Paralympic appearance ended in defeat.

12.45pm - Don't forget we've still got Chatham-born Richard Hennahane going in the archery elimination match at 3pm and Will Bayley (pictured) seeking to book his place in the quarter-finals of the table tennis at 5.20pm.

12.40pm - Nathan Milgate was not very happy with this morning, it's fair to say, but he is a nice guy and he spoke to me at length about what happened.

Click here to read what he thought.

11.25am - Double dismay. Claire Harvey and Nathan Milgate both suffered disappointment.

Milgate was unable to recover from a slow start in freezing conditions on the range and ended up a single point away from a shootout for a place in the final.

He scored 588 out of a possible 600 but was 10th, with two shooters scoring 589 going into a shootoff to see who would take their eighth and last spot in the final later today.

Chinese Chao Dong set a new event world record with a score of 596 to lead all qualifiers.

Milgate has already turned his attentions to tomorrow's Mixed R3 10m Air Rifle Prone competition and told me he intends to bring hot water bottles with him as the range was bitterly cold this morning.

Meanwhile Harvey and the GB women's sitting volleyball team suffered a straight sets defeat against Ukraine in their opening game, going down 25-9, 25-20, 25-14.

They have the chance to bounce back against the Netherlands tomorrow.

8.45am - So what do you need to know? Nathan is VERY good. Like World No1 good.

From a maximum of 600 points achievable in this event (60 shots from 10 metres away with the outer ring scoring one point and the bullseye scoring 10) Nathan has scored 597 before. That is better than anyone else in the field today, even his close mate and fellow GB hopeful Matthew Skelhon.

The top eight from this morning's qualification round will go through to the final at lunchtime. Let's hope he's there.

8.30am - I tell you what, it's absolutely gorgeous here this morning. Golden sunshine (let's hope that's an omen) and not a cloud in sight.

There's a chill in the air though, and the shivering would put me off if I was trying to hit a pinpoint target from 10m away with an air rifle, but I'm sure Nathan Milgate will deal with it better than I would.

8am - Good morning and welcome to day two of the Paralympic Games.

Herne Bay marksman Nathan Milgate will contest the qualification round of the R1 10m Air Rifle Standing competition at the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich at 9am, so that's where I am.

The Canterbury-born 25-year-old missed out on the medals in Beijing but will be looking to secure at least a place in the final, which starts at 12.30pm.

Also starting early today is Claire Harvey, a 38-year-old mum of two from Ashford, who captains the GB sitting volleyball team who face Ukraine in their opening fixture at ExCeL at 9am.

Harvey (pictured), a former Medway RFC player who was raised in Gillingham, will be making her Games debut.

The men's volleyball team, which includes Folkestone-based Gurkha Netra Rana, Dover-born Charlie Walker and Beckenham-raised Richard Dobell will be back in action at 9pm tonight, facing Egypt and needing a win to bounce back from the disappointment of a straight sets defeat to Russia in their opener on Thursday.

Also in action today we'll see Chatham-born archer Richard Hennahane going in the opening elimination round of the men's individual compound open class.

After coming through yesterday's ranking round in 16th, the 31-year-old will face Jiri Clich of the Czech Republic at 3pm back here at the Barracks.

Table tennis medal hope Will Bayley from Tunbridge Wells won his opening game on Thursday evening and will seek to progress to Saturday's quarter-finals in style with victory over Keli Liao of China in his second and final pool game at ExCeL at 5.20pm.

Promises to be another busy one. Don't forget you can follow all the live news and get some cheeky pictures too via my twitter - @kentonline2012 - as well as get live text updates on here throughout the day.
