Police car and foreign truck in rush-hour smash

A POLICE car and a foreign-registered lorry were involved in a collision on a main road in the county during yesterday's rush-hour.

The crash happened shortly before 5pm on the A249 at Detling.

The German truch spilt its load of steel components across the road, which had to be closed for a period.

Police say there were no serious injuries.
