Princess Anne has been in Kent to help commemorate the 500th anniversary of a grammar school.
Her Royal Highness formally opened a new sixth form centre at Cranbrook School, near Maidstone, as a red carpet was laid out in her honour.
It was part of a packed programme of quincentenary events, including a festival week complete with dog show, tennis competition and flower festival.
