As thousands of Kent A-level and GCSE students decide between continuing their education or getting a job - research shows the education system is not meeting the needs of business.

Members of the Forum of Private Business, (FPB), have reported too few school or college-leavers have the skills necessary to enter the job market.

The FPB revealed 750,000 small businesses have had to recruit individuals with fewer skills than they had wanted before training them up.

Its survey revealed:-
