A Kent cancer sufferer has told how not all patients would want to know how long they have left to live.

Suzanne Lloyd, 43, spoke out as a controversial new guide, funded by Cancer Research, offers terminally ill patients a prediction on their life expectancy.

The prediction is made by assessing their blood count, pulse rate and symptoms, although scientists say more research is needed.

KentOnline blogger Suzanne, from Deal, was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer eight years ago.

She was horrified by the offer.
