kmfm and Skinners Sheds hand out presents to children in hospital as part of Shed Load of Toys appeal

Poorly children stuck in hospital over the Christmas period got a treat today when kmfm handed out thousands of toys donated by generous listeners.

The radio station teamed up with Skinners Sheds to spread some festive cheer with its Shed Load of Toys appeal.

Over the past few weeks, kmfm asked listeners to buy one extra toy and drop them off at Skinners Sheds at various garden centres.

The kmfm Kent Sound winner even donated cash to buy toys to add to the pile.

The gifts were then loaded into kmfm Street Team cars, before kmfm breakfast presenters Garry and Emma hit the road today.

They visited youngsters at Medway Maritime, Margate's QEQM, Pembury and Maidstone hospitals to dish them out.
