Three men injured in Ramsgate brawl

Three men were taken to hospital after being injured in a brawl in Ramsgate.

Police were called when up to 20 people were involved in a fight in Harbour Parade.

The injured men were a 20-year-old, from Deal who suffered a suspected fractured eye socket and cheekbone; a 24-year-old, from Deal who had a suspected broken nose and eye socket; and a 20-year-old man, from Birchington who had a suspected broken nose.

Kent Police said officers were called to break up the early-hours fight.

A 25-year-old man, from Broadstairs, was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on bail until September 29 pending further investigation.

Witnesses who have not spoken to police about the brawl, which happened at about 3.20am on Saturday, are urged to contact police.
