This lorry caused traffic chaos when it became stuck in a busy town centre road.

The vehicle, which is carrying two large plastic containers, got jammed as it turned into Harmer Street from The Terrace in Gravesend at about 4.20pm.

Stranded motorists left their cars while traffic was diverted through Queen Street.

PCSOs also arrived at the scene.

The incident took place on Gravesend's one-way system and caused delays for many motorists.

The lorry has now been cleared and traffic is moving.
