Woman cut free after A28 crash

A woman has been cut free from a car following a crash on the A28 near Ashford.

She had to be cut from the wreckage of the Rover she was driving following the accident on the A28 near the Bull Inn at Bethersden, near Ashford, at 10.25am.

Firefighters from Ashford removed the car's roof and doors to free her.

A spokesman for Ashford fire station said: "The accident happened on very slippery roads after the first decent spell of rain."

The other vehicles involved were another Rover and a Mondeo. No one else was injured.
