A MAN and a woman were taken to hospital after their Yamaha motorcycle struck a parked car and crashed in Barnsole Road, Gillingham.

The woman, aged 27, was unconscious when ambulance crews arrived on the scene. Her condition in Gillingham's Medway Maritime Hospital was later said to be "stable".

She was a pillion passenger on the motorcycle when crash occurred at about 3.35am on Saturday.

The man riding the bike, who is in his 20s, was released from hospital after treatment for leg injuries.
