Youth sought after broken bottle attack

A TEENAGER was taken to hospital with a cut to his back after being attacked with a broken bottle.

The 17-year-old victim was with a group of friends in the car park in High Street, Dymchurch, near Hythe, at around 11 pm on Saturday when a fight broke out with some other young males.

The injured youth was taken to the William Harvey Hospital at Ashford for treatment. Kent Police say it was an unprovoked attack.

The offender is described as being a white male, 17-20 years old, with short dark hair. He was wearing a black thigh length jacket.

A white Vauxhall Corsa was driven into the car park and police would like to speak to the male driver and female passenger as they may have witnessed the assault.
