CHARLTON central defender Mark Fish is having a trial with Coca-Cola Championship club Brighton.

Though the 31-year-old South African international has a year of his contract remaining, the club have agreed to release him should he find another club.

Persistent injury problems curtailed his appearances last season to five.

Meanwhile, Charlton have confirmed that their Under 19 side will play Feyenoord Under 19s at Gravesend's Stonebridge Road ground on Wednesday, August 3, kick off 2pm.

Charlton play a senior friendly against the Dutch giants at The Valley on the same night, kick off 8pm.
