Invicta Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish is determined to treat their National Final against Sheffield Spartans like a league game.

The teams will go head-to-head in a one-off clash at Coventry Sky Dome on Sunday and the Dynamos will be looking to exact revenge after losing 5-2 on aggregate against Sheffield in the ENIHL Cup Final.

Parrish said: "We will play the match as a normal league game. I won’t try and change anything too tactical. We weren’t at full strength last time we played them but should be this time."

The Coventry Sky Dome holds up to 5,000 and is expected to be packed to capacity.

"We are used to playing in front of big crowds and I think it will work in our favour," he added.

After a bruising play-off quarter-final second leg win over Cardiff Dragons, Parrish has insisted that his side not be overly physical against their Yorkshire opponents. He said: "There is no point trying to rough it up against Sheffield as they are organised and disciplined."

Having led 4-1 from the first leg, Dynamos were made to work hard for their home victory.

Goals from Martin Melichercik, Anthony Leone and Melichercik again gave them a 3-0 lead.

Steve Fisher pulled one back before Tim Burrows (2) made it 3-3 in the second period. Brent Pope then put the visitors ahead.

Mos scored twice in the opening 30 seconds of the final period through Andy Smith and Elliot Andrews. Smith and Lew Burke wrapped up the scoring.
