Gillingham manager Peter Taylor will be telling his team to get stuck into Peterborough at Priestfield.

Posh were last season narrowly relegated from the Championship and are among the favourites for promotion this season.

But Taylor doesn’t want to see his team sitting back and admiring their opponents on Saturday.

He said: “Let’s roll our sleeves up and make sure it is a difficult afternoon for them.

“I certainly don’t want to see an afternoon where we just admire Peterborough. I want to see us getting into them and causing them problems.

“Peterborough are a good team and have just had a 5-0 FA Cup victory against another team in League 1 (Tranmere).

“Their manager Darren Ferguson knows his players and has assembled a good squad. We know all of that and it will be tough but it really is about us."
