The mammoth annual wine and wisdom evening staged by the KM Group's charity department will take place at the Stour Centre, Ashford on October 16. KentOnline readers can sign up now using an early bird discount code to save money and secure an extra treat on the night.

Funds raised at the Big Quiz will support the Kentish Express newspaper's charity of the year Guide Dogs for the Blind and road safety services for children.

This week key partners of the quiz including HR GO, Hallett and Co and Specsavers met to help plan the landmark event.

Quiz-goers can expect top raffle prizes, a fully stocked charity bar supplied by Shepherd Neame and the chance to win £100 in cash – plus of course the coveted KM Big Quiz trophy.

Prizes will also be awarded to the top teams linked to local government, education and the NHS and caring services.

Event organiser Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team said: “The 10 anniversary Big Quiz is sure to be a hit. Everyone is excited to be involved and we hope to raise a record sum for charity. Make sure you book a team for this special night out.”

A table for eight people, including complimentary glass of wine or soft drink, ploughman's meal and free entry into a draw to win a P&O Ferries voucher, costs £65.

To book your team visit www.kmbigquiz.co.uk. Use the booking code ABQEB15 to receive a £10 discount on the price and bottle of wine for the table.
