The KM Assault Course Challenge – organised by the KM Group’s charitable division – is now open for booking and provides an adrenaline-inducing challenge for participants of all ages and abilities.

Teams of six must tackle nineteen taxing obstacles throughout the course which includes a tyre wall, water jumps, balance beams and the fearsome rope walk.

Entrants can opt to raise money for their favourite charity and good cause, or gain sponsorship for services linked with the event including the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.

Bridget Pepper of Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance, said: “We are looking for those with nerves of steel to tackle the longest civil assault course in Kent and help us to continue our vital work across the county in the process. Every year we attend to over 2,000 patients, bringing accident and emergency skills to the scene of critical medical traumas. In order to maintain this level of service, we must raise in excess of £6.5 million each year.”

Everyone who takes on the KM Assault Course Challenge will be rewarded with a limited edition medal upon completion.

Dominic Comins, events manager of the KM Charity Team, said: “The Assault Course Challenge broke records for sponsorship last year, and the desire is to go even bigger in 2016. Booking is now open for the event and we are searching for the bravest and boldest to test their nerve!”

Kent’s ultimate dirty day out takes place on Saturday, October 1 at Betteshanger Country Park, near Deal.
