Charities, PTA members, school staff and governors are invited to attend the event on Monday, October 3 at the Mercure Great Danes Hotel in Maidstone.

Lynette Wood of the hotel said: "We are delighted to be able to host this event for a second year in a row. It is certainly a privilege to be asked and we of course were so glad that we could assist again. We really hope the delegates have a great day at the hotel, and that they find the event extremely helpful."

The KM Charity Team Forum will provide a variety of interactive workshops and sessions, as well as seminars throughout the morning which will benefit both the educational and fundraising facets of participating organisations.

School staff and governors will be able to get hands-on with a series of services, developed for initiatives focused on literacy, green travel, road safety, health and wellbeing, and Pupil Voice.

Opportunities available on the day for fundraisers include how to apply to become a KM Charity of the Year; how to request Treasure Chest prizes for charitable auctions and raffles; and how to maximise fundraising efforts with collaborative challenge events staged by the KM Charity Team such as the KM Dragon Boat Race, KM Abseil Challenge and the KM Big Charity Quiz evenings.

Attendance to the KM Charity Team Forum is free, but tickets must be booked in advance. These can be attained by visiting www.kmcharityteam.co.uk/booking and completing the simple form.

Simon Dolby, Chief Executive of the KM Charity Team, said: "We at the Charity are most thankful to the Mercure Great Danes Hotel for welcoming us back, and we'll be striving to provide the good causes and educational services across the county with expert advice and assistance. There is so much on offer at the Forum this year that will benefit all in attendance, so ensure you don't miss out by booking your free place today."
