Appeal after laptops missing from Maidstone Community Support Centre, Marsham Street

Police are appealing for information after two laptops were reportedly stolen from a charity.

The computers went missing from Maidstone Community Support Centre in Marsham Street on Thursday, February 2.

Officers are keen to trace a man seen on CCTV at the centre in relation to the thefts.

The Marsham Street centre provides a base for a number of charities, voluntary organisations and community groups.

A spokesman said: “We are no longer able to hire out laptops so that other charitable organisations and community groups can show their presentations when they are hiring one of our rooms.”

No arrests have yet been made.
