Beware delays on M20

Motorists on the London-bound carriageway of the M20 can expect delays between junctions 6 (Blue Bell Hill) and 5 (Aylesford).

The Highways Agency has closed one lane for safety reasons.

A bridge parapet was found to be damaged following an accident, and a temporary concrete barrier has been installed in the outside lane to protect road users.

The temporary barrier was erected on Monday and will be in place until a full repair can be carried out, which is likely to take a couple of weeks.
