The historic Teston Bridge has reopened after being shut earlier today and last night after being damaged by a storm.
Traffic this morning had to use alternative routes after the crossing was closed by Police last night.
The stormy weather over the last few days caused part of the wall at the side of the bridge to break away.
The bridge is believed to date back to Medieval times, and was widened in 1749.
Police handed over responsibility to Kent County Council Highways last night at 7pm.
KCC Highways have now put out a tweet to confirm that the bridge has reopened.
The bridge has been patched up with metal railings and bollards to make the road safe for traffic once more.
